Yanmar America's Construction Equipment Division recently announced the new industry standard for Compact Excavator Factory Warranties.

Beginning April 1, 2018, Yanmar will implement a 4 year / 4,000-hour warranty for all of its compact excavators. This new warranty covers all models ranging from their smallest, SV08; all 6 of their Zero Tail Swing excavators from the ViO25 to the ViO80; and its largest compact excavator, the SV100.

Jeff Pate, national sales manager for Yanmar America's Construction Equipment Division said, "We are not just setting the bar high. We are setting a new industry standard. I believe Yanmar makes the most reliable compact excavators in the industry and we plan to prove it to the consumer. The new 4 year / 4,000-hour warranty is NOT extended 'coverage,' and will not be administered by a third party, as many other manufacturers offer. This is a true factory 'bumper-to-bumper' warranty that Yanmar America offers and will cover everything our previous 3-year factory warranty covered."

This warranty is a factory 'bumper-to-bumper' warranty that covers all elements of the machinery, excluding normal maintenance procedures, or wear items such as tracks and pins. Starting with the launch of the world's first compact excavator in 1968, Yanmar has since expanded its excavator offerings to eight total models, six of which have true zero tail swing. Each excavator is a purpose-built to overcome the most challenging conditions, work with an efficient use of power, conserve fuel and provide exceptional flexibility with the same stability

and performance you would expect from more conventional excavators.
