ABLE moved into its current location a few years back to be able to better serve its customers. After a complete renovation — from concrete to roof — it was proud to show it off during the open house.

ABLE and its sister companies — ABLE Rigging and WeldBuilt — each had their own guest lists and something to show their customers.

ABLE has earthmoving equipment, generators, compressors, welders, forklifts, lightowers, aerial lifts and cranes to name a few. The variety of cranes really stands out to its customers, especially being in the New York market, the company said. ABLE offers a wide variety of Atrium lifts, crawler cranes, mini-cranes and pick and carry cranes. Many are able to fit it tight spaces, which make it ideal for NYC.

The ABLE Companies started back in '86 as ABLE Rigging Contractors. ABLE Equipment Rentals started 10 years later, in 1996 to help fill its own need, it was growing and needed more equipment to handle certain jobs.

ABLE has been customer oriented since day one when it had one rigging truck.

Service to this day is “really attracting customers.”

“Service being, but not limited to, on time delivery, reliable equipment, an extensive pre/post inspection process and lastly, if you do not like the machine, we will change it out,” said Steve Laganas, ABLE Equipment co-owner.
