Able Tool & Equipment, a construction machinery distributor in Connecticut and Massachusetts, announced the addition of Tim Stewart as service manager. Stewart will be overseeing all service and technical aspects of the company for its two locations.

Stewart brings more than 20 years of experience in the management field, for the parts and service aspects of the business. He recently worked as the service manager at Tri-State Diesel in Enfield, Conn.

"Tri-State had really set the bar for customer service in our area, notably on their service side. Tim will bring these high standards with him to really grow and bring our service and support to the next level," said Derek Bauer, Able Tool owner.

Able Tool recently was recognized as one of only three Certified Wacker Neuson dealers in New England and Stewart was integral in that accomplishment, according to the company. The certification recognizes dealers that show exceptional aftermarket service and support — based upon parts availability, organizational structure, machine recordkeeping and continuous training.

"I'm excited to be part of the team at Able, to be growing with a group that is so attentive to its customer base and dedicated to providing the best aftermarket experience. And we're fortunate to have suppliers that work with us to give the training and technical support we need," said Stewart.

"For the past fifteen years we have just had the best customer base and we don't want to let them down," said Bauer. "We've become super focused to be the best at aftermarket support for the brands that we carry — which are some of the best names in the business. Manufactures like Wacker, Chicago Pneumatic, Mustang, Husqvarna and a few others, recognize the need for key distributors that can provide a high level of technical support for their products, and we work together closely on training, parts issues and making the end users experience the best possible."
