AGC

On Monday, Feb. 11 at 10:30 a.m. EST, the head of national construction philanthropy AGC Charities Inc., Michael Anderson, will announce a significant contribution to support the renovation of Warrior Canine Connection's new "National Healing Quarters" structure during a visit to the Boyds, Md., Facility. During the visit, Anderson will get an update on construction work under way to convert an historic dairy barn to serve as the group's new headquarters, present a check representing AGC Charities' initial contribution, and meet with veterans involved with, and supported by, Warrior Canine Connection.

Warrior Canine Connection works with veterans with invisible wounds like PTSD and traumatic brain injury to train service dogs that then go to veterans with other mental or physical wounds. Training the dogs provides invaluable therapeutic benefit for the veterans with the invisible wounds. After the construction site tour and check presentation, Anderson will be available to answer questions from the media, as will the group's founder, Rick Yount, and veterans involved with the project. Dogs will, of course, also be available for "interviews."
