More than 200 guests attended the Oct. 15, 7th annual Alban CAT Cat-A-Thon event held at its Baltimore, Md., facility. Guests were invited early for a “Get to Know Us Breakfast” and got a sneak peek of the event. Attendees that registered for the event were entered into a drawing to win a used electric club car utility vehicle. A Cat 308E2 excavator was available for guests to test out and more than 20 vendors were on hand to demo their products. Later a catered lunch featuring Chaps Pit Beef was served.

Approximately $15 million worth of new and used equipment, from Cat light towers to Cat 972 wheel loaders, were up for sale with special pricing available. Those that purchased equipment also gained the benefit of Cat parts availability and service support. Alban CAT has more than $13 million of parts available and 75 to 80 on road technicians serving Eastern Shore county in Md.; Loudoun, Fairfax, Prince William, Arlington, Alexandria and Fauquier counties in northern Virginia; Washington D.C.; and Kent, and Sussex counties in Del.

“This is the one time with the price points that we want to give back to our customers. We want to give them the opportunity to own Cat equipment at an affordable price,” said Jim Price, sales manager of Alban CAT.
