Allied Construction Products Appoints Jimmy Slavens Director of Sales, Marketing

Ed Turner, president and CEO, Allied Construction Products LLC has announced the appointment of Jimmy Slavens to the position of director of sales and marketing. As director of sales and marketing, Slavens will establish both company and individual sales goals, maintain and strengthen the distributor network and manage the “backbone” of Allied’s sales organization — the district managers and sales representatives.

Slavens brings a wealth of construction equipment experience spanning 25 plus years. He brings a “focused, pro-active customer philosophy” to Allied as he has extensive expertise in establishing and developing Distributor networks and top-tier customers. His previous experience includes general management and outside sales of construction and industrial equipment at the distributor level along with top management at the manufacturing level including national accounts, product marketing, regional and district sales and service responsibilities. He has been actively involved with the Underground Contractors Association serving on the Board of Directors and the Illinois Road and Transportation Builders.

Through more than 200 U. S. and Canadian distributors, Allied offers a complete line of backhoe/excavator, skid-steer and mini-excavator mounted attachments, stationary breaking and material handling systems and trenchless underground piercing tools.
