    Lina Gottesman, president of Altus Metal, Marble and Wood, chaired the Long Island chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light the Night walk on Oct. 21.

    The record-breaking crowd drew over 6,000 survivors, patients and supporters committed to shedding light on the darkness of cancer for the event held at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, N.Y.
