Relocating to the Nashville, TN, area, Andy Andre recently took the position of vice president and branch manager of Ingersoll-Rand (IR) Equipment Sales of Tennessee. Andre was previously the vice president and branch manager of the IR Construction and Mining group in Boston.

Andre brings more than 27 years of experience with the Ingersoll-Rand Construction and Mining Group.

His IR career began in sales of compressors, rollers, and drills at the Montgomeryville, PA, location, just outside of Philadelphia. He soon moved up to district manager of sales and support of all IR products for distributors and customers in the Illinois, Indiana and Michigan markets. Andre spent nine years in this position.

He then went into branch management, where he spent six years in Milwaukee, WI, and seven years in Boston.

Prior to working with Ingersoll-Rand, Andre served in the Army and is a Vietnam veteran.

“[Working in Tennessee] is a great opportunity to remain in a strong rock drill and utility line sales market for Ingersoll-Rand,” said Andre. “When it comes to management, sales and marketing, I look forward to putting a strong focus on after-market services to the customers in Tennessee, especially working with preventative maintenance contracts that will benefit our customers with regards to their machine life cycle costs.”

Ingersoll-Rand Equipment Sales of Tennessee has locations in the Nashville and Knoxville areas. Andre will be based at the Nashville branch.
