Approximately 350 attendees from city, county, state, township, airport and school district departments registered for Towmaster’s one-day Equipment and Education Expo on July 15 in Litchfield, Minn.

The day featured demonstrations, training, and a meal, all free.

This exclusive event has proven to be a great success by offering seminars that not only offer information but in some cases can count toward continuing education credits, and can save the cost of taking the courses separately.

This year, Towmaster offered three morning seminars:

• Getting the Most Out of Your SSC6100 Controls by Force America.

• Doing Research to Make Your Work Life Better from The Minnesota Local Road Research.

• Truck-Weight Education Program in cooperation with Minnesota LTAP.

During the free lunch, guest speaker David Malmberg offered comedy, voice tossing, storytelling and music.

More than 30 vendors were in attendance, offering demonstrations, product information, and answered any questions.

In addition to the general attendees, members of the Meeker County Board of Commissioners, Litchfield Chamber of Commerce, along with local State Reps. Dean Urdahl and Scott Newman attended.
