ARTBA Elects Hill as 2002-03 Chairman

Tom Hill, CEO of Oldcastle Materials Inc. in Washington, D.C., has been elected as chairman of the American Road & Transportation Builders Association.

Hill has served as chief executive of Oldcastle Materials, a division of Dublin, Ireland-headquartered CRH, since 2000, although his career with that company spans more than 20 years. With more than 10,000 employees in the United States and operations in more than 400 locations, Oldcastle Materials Inc. is a leading supplier of aggregates, asphalt, ready mix concrete and paving services.

Hill’s service to ARTBA has included stints as senior vice chairman and first vice chairman of the organization. He also served as president of the ARTBA’s Materials & Services Division.
