- ATG Media and BidSpotter.com announced a leadership transition plan in which John-Paul Savant will succeed Anne Somers as Chief Executive Officer of ATG Media.

Following a distinguished career of over 35 years, Mrs. Somers will assume the role of Deputy Chairman of the Board on March 1, 2016 and step down from her role as CEO in advance of taking up her new role. Mrs. Somers will work closely with Mr. Savant to ensure a smooth transition, while driving the company's ongoing development plans. John-Paul Savant has significant relevant leadership experience, having recently served as the CEO of Elevate International. Previously, he served as Vice President, Product and Experience at PayPal and as Vice President, Finance & Planning at ShipIQ, an online marketplace, where he led significant and successful business transformation efforts. Colin Tenwick, ATG Media's Chairman of the Board, said, "Anne has been critical to building ATG Media's business and guiding its transformation from a publishing company to a fully tech-enabled business, and thanks to her leadership, ATG is well positioned for continued success.

“On behalf of the Board and management team, we are grateful for Anne's numerous contributions and accomplishments over her career and look forward to continuing to work with her as we implement this succession plan. In addition to her Deputy Chair role she will stay on as Executive Consultant to the business for a further year to assist in a smooth transition”

"It has been a privilege throughout my professional career to work alongside the dedicated and talented colleagues and staff at ATG Media, and to serve our clients worldwide," said Mrs. Somers. "We have developed products and services that will serve as a foundation for continued value creation and success, and I believe now is the logical time for me to begin the process of handing the reins over to ATG Media's next CEO. I am committed to supporting a seamless transition and have great confidence in ATG Media's ability to continue to thrive under John-Paul's leadership." Mrs. Somers continued.

"The selection of John-Paul to succeed Anne reflects the Board's deliberate and focused succession plan. We are fortunate to have found someone of John-Paul's caliber and are confident he is the right leader to help enhance value and drive the Company forward into its next phase of success." Mr. Tenwick added.

"I am honored to be selected to succeed Anne as ATG Media's next CEO," said Mr. Savant. "Under Anne's leadership, ATG Media has established a track record of strong product development and execution and I hope to build on her legacy as I step into my new role. Working closely with Anne and the rest of the management team to ensure a smooth leadership transition, my focus will be on continuing Anne's goal of helping our clients to succeed in their respective businesses by partnering with them and delivering the best product and services possible."
