Atlas Copco's new Dynapac F800W wheeled paver offers operators high maneuverability and mat quality as well as optimal visibility. The wheeled undercarriage and dual, swing-out operator platforms make it easy and safe to take on a variety of paving applications, including highways, city streets and parking lots. The F800W's center chain box auger drive ensure optimal material flow in demanding paving conditions and the unit has a paving capacity of up to 1,000 tons of asphalt per hour and offers a range of paving widths — from 8 to 19 feet.

The paver also includes a flexible Dynapac feed control system and a large screed for increased productivity and optimal mat quality. The F800W completes Atlas Copco's line of highway-class asphalt pavers for the North American market.

The F800W is less than 21 feet long and can complete turns within a 5-foot radius, allowing operators to maneuver around many structures and tight corners. Its balanced center of gravity and high-floatation, sand-ribbed tires ensure a smooth ride.

A two-speed hydraulic motor, combined with a heavy-duty torque hub, provides ample tractive force for paving and allows the paver to reach speeds as fast as 11 mph for quick transportation between jobsites. Atlas Copco also offers front-wheel, traction-assist, and 6-by-4-wheel drive as part of the standard package for the U.S. An optional 6-by-6-wheel drive further increases traction.
