Stephenson Equipment recently hosted a "Bandit Day" event in western Pennsylvania.

"Showcasing the Bandit line of products to the tree care professionals in the western Pennsylvania area was a high priority for us," said Charlie Walsh, VP of Stephenson Equipment Inc. (SEI). "Now that we are the official dealer for Bandit in western Pennsylvania, we wanted to have a day to focus solely on their tremendous product line,"

Stephenson had the event at its Butler location (in Prospect, Pa.,) that has had some new building renovations done to it since becoming a SEI branch location post-merger with the Walsh Equipment company.

Representatives from Bandit Industries came to the event with their event trailer and a demonstration model of the new towable Beast model 1425, which is a slightly smaller tub grinder built on a towable platform when compared to its larger predecessors in the Beast line.

Stephenson had many Bandit stock units on display, ranging from the compact tracked stump grinder model ZT1844 all the way up the larger 2550 stump grinder. Stephenson also had its extensive stock of Bandit chippers on display, offering a chipper size suited for any tree service operation no matter the size. Also at the branch was the Bandit BTC150, a tracked forestry unit popular for land clearing.

Eric Pezzulo from the Hillsville, Pa., area was the winner of the grand prize given away at the event — tickets to the Tree Care Industry Association event in Pittsburgh, Pa., in November, a night's lodging by the event, dinner at the well-known "Meat & Potatoes" restaurant and a $100 in spending money.

"We strive to have an event that not only is packed full of equipment knowledge for the attendees but we also like to pack them full of a good lunch while they get to be more familiar with our dealership," Walsh said.

"We also had on display all the other things Stephenson has to offer industry professionals like our Walsh Truck Equipment custom up-fit packages, JCB, Tiger and other equipment. The crane side of Stephenson offers specialized cranes like the NTC55 suited perfect for tree care services."
