Just as no two snowflakes are exactly alike, no two construction projects are exactly alike and include many different aspects. To help contractors with the diversity of their work, Baschmann Services Inc., of Elma, NY, has added Pavement Services Inc. (PSI) product line to its substantial equipment offerings.
Peter Baschmann, president of Baschmann, announced the addition of PSI equipment to its product offerings for western and central New York. The PSI equipment includes the M413XT asphalt maintenance machine; MG618 and MG622 motorgraders; milling brooms; sprayers; and water/flusher tanks.
The M413XT asphalt maintenance machine is designed for site preparation, residential construction, and street and alley maintenance, paving construction, parking lots, driveways and multiple tool utilization.
With all-wheel drive, the M413XT has the ability to effectively operate in confined spaces. The bucket’s overall dump height of 10 ft. gives the M413XT the capability to load most all over the road trucks and its standard float feature gives the operator the ability to back-drag from curbs, slabs and sidewalks.
The MG618 motorgrader is designed for optimum maneuverability in tight spaces, providing power and control for residential street construction, site preparation, parking lots and finish grading. Exclusive to the MG618 is fine and coarse grade controls allowing the operator to control the hydraulic flow with the flip of a switch, resulting in a faster response for production applications and smooth reaction when fine grading.
The MG622 motorgrader is PSI’s road class motorgrader featuring 133 hp, hydrostatic transmission and 12-ft. moldboard with full ditching and bank slope capabilities. The hydrostatic drive system may be operated in either a manual or automatic mode and PSI’s coarse and fine grade work modes are standard equipment. The work modes give the operator complete control of the hydraulics and allows end users to use laser control systems without adding any additional valves to the machine.
PSI’s milling brooms are designed specifically for tough sweeping applications. This includes milling, asphalt paving, heavy construction, cleanup; and chip and seal or shoulder work. The MB brooms are twice the weight of typical road brooms, which eliminates machine bounce and dramatically increases production by allowing high ground speeds while sweeping. Broom core life is maximized by PSI’s variable float control system.
“We are particularly excited about the PSI product offering and believe that it will complement our Vibromax and Ferguson rollers that we currently offer to our paving customers,” said Baschmann.
In addition to PSI’s product offerings, Baschmann can supply customers with ASV-Posi Track; Kolberg; Royers; Fecon; Carlton; Kobelco, Eager-Beaver; Brush Bandit; and Terex equipment, as well as new and used construction equipment to purchase rent or lease.
Baschmann also carries an assortment of O.E.M. aftermarket replacement parts and its service department specializes in the repair and service of heavy construction equipment.
