Constantino Lannes, president and John Van, vice president of sales and marketing of Sennebogen LLC, announced that William (Bill) McNamara has joined the company’s customer service team as regional service manager-midwest.

McNamara will be based in Chicago, Ill., with responsibility for dealer relations and customer service in Illinois, Missouri, Minnesota, Wisconsin, North and South Dakota, Wyoming, the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and parts of Arkansas. Most recently, McNamara had been serving as the Sales Manager of Deere Construction Equipment in the state of Michigan.

“Bill brings us a thorough knowledge of this key territory to Sennebogen,” Lannes said. “We’re fortunate to have someone with his equipment credentials to help us expand the presence of Sennebogen in our growing range of application markets.”

Lannes noted that, with more than 16 years experience in sales positions with the John Deere organization, McNamara is well grounded in delivering on the brand promise of a top tier OEM.

“I had been researching equipment markets in the Midwest well before this opportunity came along,” McNamara said. “I had already noted that Sennebogen was building a great name in some of the more active markets, including the scrap industry and ports facilities. My original training was in forestry, and I found Sennebogen was gaining popularity there too. When this position opened up within Sennebogen, it seemed like a natural fit for me.”

McNamara said that the existing Sennebogen dealer network also was a factor in joining the company.

“Names I have known and respected for a long time are representing Sennebogen products. I’m looking forward to meeting our dealers and their customers, to learn how they do things and see how we can help to make Sennebogen customers more productive and profitable.”

McNamara began his orientation tour of customer job sites with two of his fellow RSMs, Len Lawrence and Anthony Laslavic.

“Len and Anthony have been very generous with their time. Traveling with them has really been educational. When I was researching the market, I got a good feeling about the company; the ’family’ feel and reputation is very appealing and it came through in all the conversations I had before I came onboard. Meeting the staff and customers now, it just confirms the feeling I came in with.”
