Binder Machinery Company (BMC) added two manufacturers, The Wirtgen Group and ASV, to the line of products it represents.
The Wirtgen Group consists of road construction equipment, including Wirtgen milling, cold recycling and stabilizer equipment; Vögele asphalt pavers; and Hamm soil and asphalt compactors.
Wirtgen Group produces the Super 700 Vögele highway-class paver and created Hamm’s oscillation compaction technique, in which the roller drum maintains consistent ground contact rather than using the traditional pounding method.
“We’re very pleased to be able to carry these outstanding road construction products,” said BMC Chairman Bob Binder. “The Wirtgen Group combines cutting-edge technological innovation with superior engineering and manufacturing to achieve industry-leading productivity and reliability. All of us at Binder Machinery look forward to demonstrating the Vögele , Hamm and Wirtgen advantages to our customers throughout New Jersey.”
Also new to Binder is the ASV line of Posi-Track rubber-track loaders. With a rubber-track undercarriage, ASV Posi-Track machines can traverse many types of terrain with minimal damage to the ground.
ASV offers seven standard rubber-track loaders ranging from 31 to 99 hp (23.1 to 73.8 kW), as well as a vertical lift machine and three turf edition units that feature a smooth travel surface for golf course work and landscaping.
In addition, the ASV Scout is a track utility vehicle that can comfortably carry two people anywhere on a job site and has a 2-ton (1.8 t) capacity bed.
ASV models also offer a variety of attachments.
“ASV is a significant addition to our utility lineup,” said Bob Binder. “We believe our customers will appreciate the performance of these innovative machines, and with a wide variety of attachments available, will find many uses for them.”
