Bob Bond recently joined the sales staff of Stafford Heavy Iron in Lawrenceville, GA.

Bond, who started his career as a teacher upon graduation from college, quickly recognized that he wanted to be in sales and was hired at J.W Burress in southwest Virginia. He now has more than 23 years of new and used equipment sales experience.

Dick Kelly, general manager of Stafford Heavy Iron, was the branch manager of the Burress location where Bond began his career, and the two men worked together for many years.

“I have a lot of respect for Dick [Kelly] and have always wanted an opportunity to work with him again selling used equipment,” said Bond, who has spent the majority of his career in the Virginia market. He is now looking forward to the challenges of working in Georgia.
