BOMAG Americas, Inc. and Territory Manager, Jim Head, announce a significant expansion of Jesco, Inc.’s territory and BOMAG product line offering, representing a strategic move for the manufacturer to secure solid representation in the Northeast United States. "Jesco has been a long-time BOMAG distributor who has delivered results for us and for their customers, and to say we are excited about them taking on the full BOMAG equipment offering in a larger territory is an understatement," comments John Hood, director of sales, heavy equipment for BOMAG Americas, Inc.

Jesco is now a full-line BOMAG equipment distributor – from tampers and plate compactors to road building equipment and landfill compactors – for contractors in the Hudson Valley and Long Island in New York, nearly the entire state of Maryland, and the states of Delaware and New Jersey. "Jesco is an exceptional BOMAG distributor with an ownership committed to growing the company," adds Head, "and this new contract establishes them as a major asphalt house with milling machines, pavers and reclaimer/stabilizers to complement their strength on the soil side of the business. They are truly a one-stop shop for both soil and asphalt contractors operating in this region."

The compaction specialist, BOMAG manufactures a line of equipment that includes vibratory tampers, single and reversible plate compactors, walk-behind rollers, small single drum and tandem ride-on rollers, and highway class single drum and tandem rollers. "Very few manufacturers have a full line of compaction equipment from small to large and none rival the breadth and reputation of BOMAG," says Anthony Falzarano, VP of sales for Jesco, Inc. "BOMAG’s line fits well with our rental marketing strategy, as we have a fleet of more than 600 rental units strong."

As a road building distributor, Jesco also offers a full line of milling machines, asphalt pavers, material transfer equipment and recycling/stabilization equipment. The contract includes recently acquired Cedarapids paving equipment and CMI RS Series of reclaimer/stabilizers. This encompasses exclusives such as the CMI RS950B, the world’s most powerful reclaimer/stabilizer; the industry’s only machine that doubles as both a paver and material transfer vehicle (MTV), the Cedarapids CR662RM RoadMix; and the market’s most advanced Intelligent Compaction system, Asphalt Manager, designed to measure asphalt stiffness and prevent mat over compaction.

A construction equipment distributor since 1972, Jesco prides itself on the development of deep, long-lasting relationships with its customers by supplying a wide range of quality equipment according to the company. "We only represent the top equipment lines in a category, and BOMAG is definitely a worldwide leader," says Falzarano. "Jesco has committed to having BOMAG product specialists and their seasoned sales and service representatives have been thoroughly trained on the entire line, so they are ready to partner with their customers to ensure their success," adds Head.

In recent years, Jesco has expanded beyond its New Jersey roots to open branches in the surrounding states, and this new contract takes advantage of the company’s growth within in the region. According to the company, Jesco provides quick response to customer and equipment needs from 10 locations – three in New Jersey, two in New York, four in Maryland and one in Delaware. "We are excited with the new contract, honored that BOMAG has mirrored our footprint expansion, and eager to take advantage of this opportunity to further partner with our customers," said Falzarano.

Jesco, Inc.’s corporate office is located in South Plainfield, N.J. More information on Jesco, Inc. can be found at www.jesco.us.
