Briggs Equipment Names Joe Mayek as Sales Manager for Dallas Market

Briggs Equipment, a distributor and supplier of fork lift trucks, industrial equipment and construction equipment, Dec. 7 announced Joe Mayek has joined the company as sales manager for the Dallas market.

”Joe is a well-respected, industry veteran whose results-oriented management style and vast knowledge of the materials handling industry will be invaluable as he works to drive growth at Briggs,” said Mike Winemiller, president, Briggs Equipment.

With more than 25 years experience, Mayek most recently served as vice president/general manager of Yale Materials Handling-MN Inc. where he oversaw day-to-day operations for a 34-employee, $15 million materials handling dealership. He also has held various management and sales positions with Yale Materials Handling Coporation/Nacco Materials Handling Group, The Associates, GE Capital Fleet Services and Bennett Material Handling. Mayek began his career at Wisconsin Lift Truck Corporation as a sales representative.
