The PRO Series comes with either a full-length auger, or 12-in. (30.5 cm) pintle chain. A high-flow chute and a 14-in. (35.5 cm) spinner give the spreaders the velocity to maintain consistent coverage at high speeds.

Buyers Products' SaltDogg PRO Series electric spreaders are engineered to reliably and accurately spread bulk salt or a salt/sand mix, according to the manufacturer.

“The PRO Series is engineered to stand up to demanding jobs,” said Dave Zelis, director of sales and marketing at Buyers Products. “They spread quickly and thoroughly so our customers can move onto the next task.”

SaltDogg PRO2000 (2 cu. yd. [1.5 cu m]) models can fit in a full-size pickup truck, whereas SaltDogg PRO2500 (2.5 cu. yd. [1.9 cu m]) models are designed for use with a flatbed, dump truck or large pickup truck with dual rear wheels. The spreaders feature Buyers' double-wall poly hopper. Each PRO model includes a top screen, stainless steel inverted Vs, and a fitted tarp for material protection.
