Carlin Binder, who has served in numerous sales and management capacities with Binder Machinery Company since joining the distributorship full-time in 1998, has been named the new Voorhees branch manager.

In his new role, Binder will oversee the Service and Parts departments at the full-service Voorhees branch and work closely with longtime South Field Sales Manager Scott Warren to manage equipment sales in south Jersey.

“We have a strong and experienced team in place at the Voorhees branch that is committed to providing customers in south Jersey with topnotch products and product support,” Binder said.

“I look forward to working with Service Manager Anthony Nalewajko to help manage service operations and assisting Office Manager Ann Marie Hebling in the administration of the branch. I will also work hand in hand with Vice President and General Manager of Parts Alan Binder to ensure high parts availability at the branch as well as assist Scott Warren and our sales team in meeting our customers’ equipment needs.”

A member of the third generation of the Binder family involved in the company, Carlin Binder brings a strong background in all facets of the business to his new responsibilities as branch manager. Prior to being named to the position, he served as a full-line equipment sales representative in Hunterdon, Somerset and Warren counties after a stint as Binder’s used equipment manager. He also worked in the South Plainfield Parts and Service departments during the summers while attending high school and college.

“Customer contact is something I’ve really enjoyed since I worked as a parts counter person,” he said. “My experience, including most recently as a general line sales person, has helped me understand the needs of customers when it comes to matching a machine to their application and on the product support side in helping them keep their equipment up and running.”

According to Binder, the company has positioned itself as a leader in the New Jersey market by providing customers with exceptional products backed by extraordinary service.

“We represent the finest products available, including world-renowned brands such as Komatsu, Ingersoll Rand and Metso Minerals,” he said.

“We have also established a reputation of providing customers with the highest level of product support in the industry. Backed by our service department in the field and shop and through our large inventory of parts, we are focused on helping our customers increase productivity and minimize downtime.

“We are known as ’The Product Support Company,’ something my grandfather [Walter Binder, who founded the company in 1957] and father [Chairman Bob Binder] built the business on,” he said.

“I’m very proud to carry on that tradition as one of four members of the third generation involved in the business. We are all very committed to expanding the business on the strong foundation that my grandfather and father have built for the company based on outstanding customer service.

“I look forward to meeting more of our customers in south Jersey and showing them what we can do for their business.”
