On June 8, Carolina Cat held its popular food truck Friday customer appreciation event at its Troy, N.C., facility.

River Wild Food Truck served up made-to-order bison burgers with fries that were enjoyed by everyone.

Carolina Cat had several forestry machines on hand for its customers to check out including the Cat 535D skidder, Cat 563D feller buncher and several pieces of low-hour used machines.

Building on Caterpillar's 40+ years' experience designing and manufacturing skidders, the Cat D Series wheel skidder delivers more productivity at lower operating cost. Get more wood to the landing faster in a stable machine with a roomy, comfortable environment for the operator. Advanced hydraulics speed up multi-functioning and cycle times and offer more lift capacity. The D Series runs cool and is designed to keep debris from collecting inside the machine. Tilting cab and other access points cut the time needed for daily maintenance and servicing.

From thinning through final harvest applications on flat or hilly terrain, the C Series model lineup is very versatile. The heart of the C Series wheel feller buncher family is the 563C. The 563C is the most versatile machine, balancing power and fuel economy with excellent stability and a short wheelbase for improved agility.
