Cashman Equipment Announces Personnel Changes

Cashman Equipment, the Caterpillar dealer for Nevada, has announced the following appointments:

• Jeff Maxson has been promoted from construction sales manager to general manager of Cashman Rental Services. He brings 10 years of heavy equipment sales and rental experience in the Las Vegas Valley to his position at Nevada’s premier Caterpillar dealer.

Maxson’s responsibilities include monitoring, analyzing and adjusting the rental division focus toward the goal of continuous improvement in the areas of operations, functions, systems, resources and internal and external customer service.

• Marsha Y. Calder has been named manager of sales development. Calder’s responsibilities include planning, implementing and evaluating marketing and sales development efforts for Nevada’s premier Caterpillar dealer.

Calder brings 15 years of business-to-business marketing experience to the position. Previously, she served as marketing consultant to Maverick Tube Corporation, an industrial tube manufacturer headquartered in St. Louis, MO, and was manager of the marketing computer services department for Ametek Inc., a Fortune 500 company in Paoli, PA. She also was president and owner of We’re Your Type!, a marketing services firm located in West Chester, PA, for more than six years.

• James C. Moore has been named as controller. His previous position with Cashman was business unit finance manager.

Moore has more than 25 years of experience as a management and financial analyst. Prior to joining Cashman Equipment, Moore was group controller for Nichols Aluminum, a manufacturer of metal and fabricated building equipment in Davenport, IA. In Illinois, he held financial management positions at J.I. Case Company, an agricultural equipment manufacturing plant, and International Harvester Company, a farm equipment manufacturer.

For nearly seven decades, Cashman Equipment has been providing the Caterpillar equipment, parts and service to the mining, logging, construction, paving, truck engines and power systems industries throughout Nevada.
