Cashman Equipment celebrated the grand opening of the 1,000-sq.-ft. Cat Gear Store at 3300 St. Rose Parkway, Henderson, Nev., Dec. 12.

The Cat Gear Store offers more than 500 Cat-branded items for sale, including collectible die-cast Cat models; children’s books, toys, and clothing; women’s t-shirts, active wear and hats; men’s leather, flannel, and Carhartt-style work jackets, shirts, hats and belts; work tools, safety vests and hard hats; backpacks, messenger bags, purses and business card holders; golf and racing gifts; and much more.

“The Caterpillar brand has become a retail phenomenon,” said MaryKaye Cashman, Cashman Equipment CEO and chairman. “With free-standing Gear stores popping up across the globe, Cashman is happy to be the only store in Nevada to carry a complete line of Cat-branded merchandise — products traditionally recognized for quality, durability and uniquely rugged style.”

Customers spending $25 or more can register to win a Caterpillar Kid Tractor (drawing Dec. 29.)

The first 100 customers at Cashman’s Cat Gear store grand opening received a free gift with purchase.

Cashman’s Cat Gear store has economical gifts of more than 200 items under $20 and a sale section with 50 to 75 percent off merchandise.

Public building tours are not available at this time. Finishing touches are being completed in preparation for a Feb. 16, 2009, full facility grand opening.
