Cat Auction Services teamed up with Alban CAT for another successful auction at its Winchester, Va., location. The auction took place on June 26, and this is the third sale Alban CAT has hosted with Cat Auctions.

The sunshine made for a great day to host an auction, and onsite attendance was up from the company’s December sale. The auction brought a large crowd of local contractors, in addition to the always present online audience. Both Cat Auctions and Alban were extremely pleased when a 2011 Cat 349EL hydraulic excavator sold for $275,000.

Customers agreed this auction produced great results and the prices were right. Many customers were impressed with Cat Auctions Cat Certified inspections that were available.

“I had a few people comment on how these inspections helped solidify their decision to purchase the item,” said Brooke Sanders, marketing coordinator.

Along with its inspections, Cat Auctions has now included three months level 1 Product Link in addition to the Equipment Protection Plans on all qualifying Caterpillar machines.

“We want to stand apart as an auction company,” said Chad Weidemann, vice president of sales.

Cat Auction Services next auction will be an online timed auction located in its eQuipment yard on July 16th. The company hosts an eQuipment yard sale the third Wednesday of every month.
