When a company has been in business for 19 years, it is apt to win an award or two. However, Construction Crane & Tractor (CC&T) headquartered in Folcroft, PA, has been presented a Dealer Award for outstanding sales achievement by Wirtgen America for almost every year of its 19 years as an equipment dealer.

"CC&T was one of the first Wirtgen dealers in North America in the late 1980s. Mike Chenet and his staff have grown their market knowledge a lot during those years and have developed a sales and service organization that gives them the opportunity to win awards like this one," said Stu Murray, Wirtgen's president and CEO.

"CC&T's knowledge of the cold milling machine business is as good as it gets. They certainly know that the real job in our business starts after the sale is made. Mike's parts and service capabilities are excellent," he said.

The company specializes in asphalt paving products and primarily road milling machines and stabilization equipment and unlike other dealers with 15 or 16 different product lines, it focuses strictly on a very narrow market, said Chenet.

"When you add to that a quality company such as Wirtgen, which focuses on supporting customers with excellent products, we're able to quickly take care of any problems that may arise," he said.

"We have expertise, which our customers have known and can rely. We have been doing this for a long time and customers know us and trust us," said Chenet.

CC&T keeps a large inventory of machines so that it can respond quickly when customers need products for their projects or when a machine goes down.

"We're also active in the used equipment market, which helps us take care of customers' needs for trade-ins or when they're looking to purchase used equipment," Chenet explained.

In addition to its Folcroft headquarters, CC&T has a branch in Piscataway, NJ.
