Chadwick-BaRoss Inc., (CBR) announced Jan. 30 that it had completed the acquisition of Southern Rhode Island Equipment Sales Ltd., (SRIES). The deal, which closed on Jan. 26, will result in the expansion of CBR's operations into the state of Rhode Island, starting with the former SRIES location in Warwick. CBR also confirmed that it will be retaining all employees at the Warwick site as new members of the CBR team.

“We welcome the SRIES employees to the CBR family,” said Randy Mace, president of Chadwick-BaRoss. “The Warwick team has done a tremendous job of building a great local business over the past 20 years, and we look forward to integrating them into our company and learning from the outstanding experience base that they bring to our operations.”

The Warwick branch will be CBR's 6th location in the Maine-based company's operations, which cover Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

“This acquisition is important for us,” said Mace. “The growth opportunity that SRIES represents is significant, but it also represents an important avenue for us to better support and service our existing customers in the neighboring areas where CBR already had a presence. We're very much looking forward to building upon SRIES's great relationships in Rhode Island, and continuing to represent the CBR brand throughout New England.”

The new store will carry Holder, Prinoth, LBX Excavators, Husqvarna Construction, Multiquip, Paladin Attachments, Takeuchi, Fuchs, Ponsse and Terex Finlay.
