Doug Perron Jr., Chadwick-BaRoss parts manager, is part of the world champion team for the Volvo “Masters Cup” in Sweden.

Every four years, Volvo Construction Equipment sponsors the Volvo “Masters Cup” competition testing product knowledge, diagnostics and repair skills. Participants on each team are from Volvo dealers worldwide.

In North America, a field of more than 100 potentials was narrowed to three team members, including Perron, of Chadwick-BaRoss’ Concord, NH, branch. The team then traveled to Sweden to represent North America in global competition. In Sweden on March 17, 2005, North America was awarded the Masters Cup for the second straight competition.

Perron started working at Chadwick-BaRoss in 1996 as a mechanic. His next career move was a position as a parts salesperson for a competitor in 1997, and within three years returned to Chadwick-BaRoss as the parts manager in 2000. He said his experience as a heavy-duty equipment mechanic has been invaluable in his abilities and skills as a parts and accessories advisor to customers, and considers himself to be a self-taught parts expert.

“I have to give a lot of credit to working under my dad when he was the parts manager as another big contributor towards my success in parts management …” said Perron of his father, Doug Perron Sr.

Chadwick-BaRoss Inc. at 237 Sheep Davis Rd., Concord, NH, has recently undergone major renovations. All areas of the building, including the service and parts departments have been expanded to better serve the needs of customers. Service volume and parts in stock inventory has expanded with the now increased space.

A customer appreciation day and open house has been scheduled for customers to see the expanded and renovated facility on Sat., June 4 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
