Construction Equipment Guide

Chicago Pneumatic 40-class CP1210 pneumatic handheld breaker is designed to deliver 90 percent of the hitting power of a 60-class breaker.

The 40-lb.-class CP1210 breaker features an improved swivel design for reported increased maneuverability and a piston with lubrication grooves. The handheld tool is available with different shanks and in vibro-reduced, silenced and un-silenced versions.

The breaker features a four-bolt backhead design to help it withstand rugged use.

Heavy-duty fronthead springs are designed to reduce reaction back to operator, according to the manufacturer.

The breakers have been designed for light to medium construction and plant maintenance work — such as light demolition of floors, pavements and roads, as well as various other service jobs.
