Cleveland Brothers Equipment Company Inc. is renewing its commitment to northeast Pennsylvania’s economic growth with the grand opening of its Wilkes-Barre/Scranton branch.

The new facility, which opened July 20, replaces the former Wilkes-Barre and Pittston branches, merging them under one roof. It provides a quick and convenient one-stop shopping experience, housing the construction, electric power, industrial engines, oil & gas, and on-highway truck businesses.

“The new Wilkes-Barre/Scranton branch stands for Cleveland Brothers’ ongoing commitment to our customers and their businesses in northeast Pennsylvania,” said President and CEO Jay Cleveland Jr. “We are dedicated to helping make their business successful by providing world-class equipment and unparalleled service at this state-of-the-art branch.”

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton branch will continue to support traditional heavy equipment business sectors such as construction, transportation and mining with the latest in high-tech services, while also keeping pace with the needs of the booming petroleum and natural gas industries. Every detail of the facility was designed with customer convenience and advanced technology in mind, including:

• 10 bays for servicing construction equipment, plus 10 additional bays dedicated solely to the energy and transportation sectors. The bays also can service compressed natural gas vehicles, supporting businesses converting their fleets from diesel.

• A separate, two-bay building will offer modern cleaning systems, with built-in contamination-prevention to ensure clean, consistent equipment.

• Doubled warehouse capacity for increased off-the-shelf parts availability.

• Full line rental offering with a new One Call Rentals store.

The 22-acre site is easily accessible from northeast Pennsylvania’s main highways. With more storage on the larger lot, Cleveland Brothers will keep more emergency power generation equipment on hand, for use in with unplanned events.

The address for the new Wilkes-Barre/Scranton branch is 441 Hwy 315, Pittston, Pa., 18460.
