Cleveland Brothers, the Caterpillar heavy-equipment and power systems dealership in central Pennsylvania, has signed an agreement with McCarthy Tire.

In the agreement, Cleveland Brothers will help McCarthy Tire to sell Caterpillar skid steer tires to end users in the dealer’s 32-county area. McCarthy Tire will begin selling and servicing Cat-brand skid steer tires immediately.

“The agreement was created to provide tire service expertise to Cleveland Brothers customers,” said Dennis Stromberg, marketing manger of Cleveland Brothers Equipment.

“We are proud of our general service capabilities, but we do not have a core competency in tire service. We are collaborating with a company that is a tire service expert in order to best serve our customers,” added Stromberg.

The Caterpillar skid steer tire recognized in the industry as a high-quality product has been available since 1998. The tires come standard on all models of Caterpillar skid steer loaders but also can be used on other manufacturers’ machines. The Cat Low Sidewall (LSW) feature allows users to operate machines in a run-flat condition until prompt repairs can be made.
