Company Wrench is preparing to host a grand opening celebration June 26 for its new Kobelco dealership in Columbia, S.C. The event will start at 8 a.m. with a continental breakfast, followed by a barbecue lunch. Guests also can participate in a raffle to win prizes.

During an auction to benefit The Wounded Warriors Project, attendees will have an opportunity to bid on a Kobelco SK35SR-6E mini-excavator. Proceeds more than $25,000 from the auction will support injured service members through the 20 programs and services provided by WWP that are uniquely structured to nurture the mind and body, and encourage economic empowerment and engagement. More than 52,000 servicemen and women have been injured in recent military conflicts. In addition to the physical wounds, it is estimated as many as 400,000 service members live with the invisible wounds of war including combat-related stress, major depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Through this auction, Company Wrench will support WWP’s work toward its vision of fostering the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation’s history.

Company Wrench’s 7.64 acre facility, just off I-20, is comprised of office space, a 7,800 sq. ft. parts warehouse, an 8,640 sq. ft. service department with drive through service, covered wash bay and plenty of room to house Company Wrench’s vast inventory. The dealership will carry a full line of Kobelco excavators, Strickland buckets, Terex Fuchs material handlers, Gehl skid steers, Stanley and LaBounty attachments, Liugong wheel loaders, Dressta dozers and much more.

Attendees also will have the chance to meet Company Wrench’s team including Michael Dooley, general manager; Tad Timmons, senior shop technician; and Leon Davis and Eric Gambiel, field technicians.
