ConExpo-Con/AGG has taken the number-one spot in the Top Trade Show list annually compiled by the Trade Show News Network (TSNN).

TSNN is the online information resource for the exhibitions and events industry and ranks the top trade shows in the United States by exhibit space size.

“This honor is a tribute to AEM's members and the support of our industries that make this show the gathering place every three years,” said Sara Truesdale Mooney, show director of ConExpo-Con/AGG 2017 and vice president of strategy and business development, Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM).

“Our new immersive Tech Experience amplified the technology in the exhibits and was just one example that underscored our team's commitment to deliver an unparalleled show experience and content to inspire and inform attendees about what's next.”

AEM also earned top-show honors for its other 2017 expositions:

  • ICUEE — The Demo Expo ranked number 5
  • IFPE, International Fluid Power Exposition ranked near the top 100 (IFPE co-owner is NFPA, National Fluid Power Association)

AEM shows are industry-run in which participants have a voice in show planning, industry partnerships enhance value, the Association carefully monitors costs and revenues go back into industry services.

“AEM works proactively with members, exhibitors, attendees and industry groups in the show planning process to produce events with measureable results that meet their business needs,” said Mooney.

World's First 3D-Printed Excavator, Industry Give-Back Initiatives

A highlight at ConExpo-Con/AGG's Tech Experience was the unveiling by the show and co-located IFPE of the world's first fully-functional 3D-printed excavator, featuring fluid power innovations, and the first large-scale use of steel in 3D printing, known as additive manufacturing.

In non-show years, ConExpo-Con/AGG continues to spotlight technology advancements with its CONEXPO-CON/AGG 365 initiative. For more information, visit https://www.conexpoconagg.com/subscribe/.

ConExpo-Con/AGG and ICUEE 2017 also featured industry give-back auctions among their special events and related networking opportunities. All proceeds went to the nonprofit Call of Duty Endowment, dedicated to helping connect military veterans with quality jobs.
