Knott's Berry Farm is busy with multiple construction projects as the amusement park prepares for its upcoming summer debut of a new thrill ride, the Boysenberry Festival, an expansion to the Knott's Soak City Waterpark and the return of the Ghost Town Alive! attraction.

Crews working on the addition of new water slides at Soak City were wasting no time in erecting supports for the new slides once the rain abated. Sections of the new slides could be seen sitting in Knott's parking lot along the fence near Stanton Avenue.

Construction on the new Sol Spin ride in the Fiesta Village and the new Boardwalk Restaurant inside the park had been all but halted by the recent rain storms. One worker was seen at the restaurant location pumping out water from the construction site.

The Calico Railroad was closed as workers replace major sections of track on the long operating rail line.

All the new rides and restaurant are supposed to open this summer.
