Construction Equipment Guide

The Allmand Night-Lite Pro Series of portable light towers offers quality lighting for a wide variety of markets, including rental yards, contractors and municipalities. The Night-Lite Pro comes with Allmand’s Sho lighting system as standard equipment.

The engine-generator package includes an 1,800-rpm Kubota D905 liquid-cooled diesel engine and an 8-hp (6 kW) generator. Requiring oil changes only every 200 hours, the 10.5-hp (7.8 KW) engine offers indirect injection for quiet operation. Other value-added features include automatic shutdown for low oil pressure and high engine temperature and a glow plug cold-start aid.

The mast is center-mounted between two retractable rear outriggers and tongue jack providing operational stability. This outrigger system allows the trailer to remain operational in winds up to 65 mph (104 kmh). Self-locking stabilizers and a captive latch-pin on the tower support eliminate the need for troublesome pins.

Self-lubricating nylon pads on the light tower provide smooth, safe operation. Utilizing nylon pads eliminates the problems associated with metal-to-metal wear points and stabilizes the tower by increasing the rigidity to the tower assembly when raised.

The Night-Lite Pro Series features a molded, 30-gal. (113.5 L) seamless polyethylene fuel tank for up to 60 hours of continuous operation. Built with corrosion- and dent-resistant molded fenders and heavy-duty enclosure, it is ideal for rugged conditions. The protective enclosure includes solid 12-gauge fold-up doors and 10-gauge side panels. Forklift pockets allow for easy loading and unloading.

In addition to the Night-Lite Pro, Allmand offers the Maxi-Lite, available in five options: models 695 and 895, which utilize four Sho lamps for a total of 5,000 watts; model 883XL, which features six Sho lamps for a total of 6,000 watts; and models 1595 and 1595XL, which come standard with a 20-hp (15 kW) generator and four or six Sho lamps, respectively.
