 Some of the big prize winners of the day (L-R) included Taylor Byrd of ALDOT (an Igloo cooler); Shane Marquis of Alabama Truck & Equipment (an over/under 12-gauge shotgun); Shane Holloway of TDOT and Tanya Hayes of S. T. Bunn Construction (Yeti cooler winners).  
 A big turnout of Volvo representatives from Shippensburg, Pa., came to lend their support for the event, (L-R) including Gary Atkinson, Brett Gilbert, Eric Dieball and Casey Maun.  
 Other manufacturer representatives that came out to exhibit their products (L-R) included Bill Waits of TAG Manufacturing, Shane Sirmons of Takeuchi and Cole Rudder of Kobelco.     
 Staff members from Cowin Equipment’s headquarters facility in Birmingham, Tina Perry (L) and Tracey Drake (C) make sure their guests are registered for the prize drawings.

Cowin Equipment Co. hosted more than 200 customers and friends on April 26 to celebrate the official branch grand opening of its Tuscaloosa, Ala., facility.

The event featured a catered barbeque lunch, vendor exhibits, equipment displays and goody bags with lots of Cowin “swag.”

Cowin awarded many great items and gift cards during the event, including Igloo and Yeti coolers and a grand prize of a 12-gauge over/under shotgun, which was won by Shane Marquis of Alabama Truck & Equipment, Tuscaloosa, Ala.

Cowin representatives, ownership and management, as well as representatives from most of the equipment lines sold at the branch facility, including Volvo, Takeuchi, Kobelco, Doosan Portable Power, TAG and others, turned out for the event.

One Cowin representative summed up the grand opening event best when he said, “This is all about good food, good fun and a way to show our appreciation for our customers and their support.”
