Custom Truck One Source (Custom Truck)has announced the acquisition of Great Pacific Equipment, a distributor of construction and utility equipment serving the southwest region of the U.S. for the last 40 years. With offices in Fontana and Bakersfield, Calif., Great Pacific's existing management will partner with Custom Truck's management, continuing to provide the western United States with exceptional equipment and service while growing the business as part of Custom Truck One Source.

“The addition of the Great Pacific team and its locations to the Custom Truck family is very exciting,” said Custom Truck CEO Fred Ross. “We are now able to better serve our customers in the western U.S., continuing our commitment to the expansion of our footprint.”

In addition to Great Pacific's robust crane offerings, Custom Truck will expand their vast sales and rental fleet into the region, offering chassis and track-based equipment for the utility, forestry, railroad, construction, propane, oil & gas, and heavy equipment industries. Both the Fontana and Bakersfield locations will be part of Custom Truck's nationwide aftermarket parts and services network, providing service to both existing and new customers.

“These are exciting times for our industry as well as for our future with Custom Truck. Partnering with Custom Truck will allow us to take full advantage of the growth in the construction, utility and infrastructure industries over the next few years. The Great Pacific employees are excited about being a part of it,” said Tony LiRocchi, owner of Great Pacific.

The addition of Great Pacific's assets and team marks the ninth acquisition under the Custom Truck One Source brand since its formation in February 2015 and is validation of its pledge to build a national footprint and a wide breadth of product offerings. The Great Pacific acquisition was accomplished through a purchase of a subsidiary of Great Pacific. Funds managed by Blackstone will continue to provide growth capital for significant additional investment in equipment, innovation and an expanded geographic footprint, which will ensure Custom Truck has the customer-focused solutions the industry requires.
