Dayton’s GeoShack Joins Leica Geosystems Network

Leica Geosystems announced the appointment of GeoShack (formerly Blue Beam) as a distributor in Ohio.

“We are delighted to welcome GeoShack into the Leica Geosystems family,” said Bob Williams, president of the Leica Geosystems Surveying and Engineering Division for the Americas.

“GeoShack is well known for its technical expertise and strong sales organization in machine automation and construction instruments with a loyal customer base throughout the Ohio region,” he added.

In Ohio, GeoShack will represent Leica Geosystems in construction lasers, surveying, engineering and construction machine automation systems.

Headquartered in Dayton, Ohio, GeoShack was formed in 2003 by the merger of Blue Beam, Spectra Laser & Precision Instruments, Laserline Ontario and Construction & Survey Instruments.

GeoShack has sales professionals, technical service specialists and administrative support in 13 major market areas in North America with over 100 employees.
