Ditch Witch of Ohio, western Pennsylvania and western New York hosted a hospitality event for area contractors during the Memorial Tournament at the Muirfield Village Golf Course near Columbus, Ohio, on June 3. Guests were entertained at the Ditch Witch Hospitality House on the seventh fairway and provided with PGA badges so they could walk the course and catch their favorite golfers in action.
According to Ditch Witch of Ohio, Western Pennsylvania and Western New York General Manager Matt Di Iorio, the event offered an opportunity to visit with customers in a relaxed atmosphere and thank them for their business while enjoying one of the premier golf events of the year.
Founded by Jack Nicklaus, the Memorial Tournament is one of the biggest of the non-major events on the PGA Tour. The tournament is one of only five invitational events, with only the first 75 players on the previous year's money-list being guaranteed a place. Muirfield Village Golf Course is a Nicklaus-designed course situated just outside of the hall-of-fame golfer's hometown of Columbus, Ohio. Steve Stricker was the winner of this year's tournament.
