Ditch Witch of Ohio, W.PA & W.NY and Ditch Witch of Kentucky will be known as Ditch Witch Mid-States going forward. The two underground equipment institutions founded nearly 50 years ago are now one company.
The acquisition of Ditch Witch Trenching of Kentucky adds the state of Kentucky and more of southern Indiana to Ditch Witch Mid-States area of responsibility.
Ditch Witch Mid-States will continue to specialize in underground utility construction equipment. However, the combination of dealer personnel and territories adds to the depth, knowledge, experience and resources available to professionals that locate, install or remediate pipe and/or cable underground, according to the companies.
Adding two locations means more new, used and rental equipment, as well as parts, service capabilities and supplies. All locations are in the process of integrating new processes and technology that will continually enhance customer service, speed and accuracy.
Bill and Mike Lenberger, the owners of Ditch Witch Trenching of Kentucky, formally retired after the transition, but have been quick to lend a hand. Although the Mid-States team has grown substantially, they're still adding people in rental and service.
