Don Smock Auction Company held its 32nd annual Fall auction at its complex in Pendleton, Ind., on Sept. 13th. It was one of the largest Don Smock Fall auctions in more than a decade, with a record 300 title vehicles sold and 1,684 active bidders.
This was a very well attended auction, with more than 1,400 lots; 1,690 registered bidders; 50 international bidders from Canada, Germany, Honduras, Ecuador, Mexico and Jordan; 134 consignors; and 19,560 auction website views.
"As the equipment and transportation industries ebb and flow in today's auction markets, we are thankful to all our loyal customers," said Nic Smock. "As a second-generation auction company, we know how important our customers are. We continue to strive to give our sellers a global buyer base and our buyers a large variety of quality assets. The core values of DSA are providing professional and personal service to the heavy equipment industry."
Founded in 1990 by Don Smock, Don Smock Auction Company Inc. is now headed by Don's son, Nic. The auction company is scheduled to conduct a series of INDOT auctions at various locations in Indiana throughout October.
