Doosan Infracore Construction Equipment has named Cowin Equipment Company of Montgomery, Ala., its new dealer for heavy excavators and wheel loaders in the state of Georgia. Cowin will serve the Georgia market from its branch locations in Atlanta and Albany.

Cowin Equipment Company opened its doors in 1938. A distributor of heavy equipment, Cowin Equipment Company also has a large rental fleet, which will now include Doosan machines. In 2006, RER magazine named Cowin Equipment Company as one of the top 60 rental companies in North America.

“Our company’s mission is to always exceed our customers’ expectations for quality,” said Russ Huber, Cowin Equipment Company vice president and general manager of Georgia operations. “Adding Doosan as a partner will help us continue to provide high-quality service, products and, most importantly, overall value to our customers.”

“Cowin’s dedication to its customers combined with Doosan’s competitive products, commitment to the North American market and class-leading parts and service support give us the foundation for a winning team in the Georgia market,” said Steve Ross, Doosan dealer development.
