Doosan Infracore America Corp. has named A. Montano Co. as Southern Hudson River Valley Region dealer of Doosan Daewoo Construction Equipment.

The Saugerties, NY-based dealer will sell, rent and provide service for Doosan Daewoo excavators and wheel loaders in the Upstate New York counties of Sullivan, Orange and Putnam.

A. Montano Co. is a 25-year-old, family-owned and operated business that sells and rents new and used heavy equipment. Its customers are primarily contractors in all trades within a 100-mi. radius of the dealership.

The company is expanding this year and has opened a new 4,000-sq.-ft. sales office and hired sales staff and service personnel.

“The Doosan Daewoo line enhances the offering of new equipment for our customers who want to move up to new machines,” said Anthony Montano, president, A. Montano Co.

“Doosan Daewoo equipment is a high-quality product with significant advantages in value that will help them reach that goal. New field sales representatives Roger Eaton and Rick Covert will be working with A. Montano customers starting this spring.”

A. Montano joins Hoffman Equipment, Keil Equipment, Monroe Tractor and Commercial Trucks and Equipment as dealers for Doosan Daewoo equipment in New York State. Additionally, A. Montano will share Green and Ulster counties with Keil Equipment.
