Doosan Portable Power features the coolest, quietest, most versatile mid-range T4i generator package on the market. The G190 Tier-4i generator delivers 194 kVA (155 kW) at 69 dB(A) at 100 percent load with an optional variable speed fan. Doosan Portable Power generators also feature a dual frequency switch as standard, allowing the G190 to change from 50Hz to 60Hz. Extreme temperatures are no trouble for the G190 T4i due to an optional tundra package, which ensures reliable startup and operation in temperatures as low as -40F/C. The optional tundra package includes a coolant heater, oil pan heater, battery charger, battery heater pad and breather hose.
The Doosan Portable Power G190 is powered by a T4i-compliant Cummins QSB7 engine. This engine not only improves fuel economy and can run continuously for 30 hours at 100 percent load, but also features industry leading serviceability with 500-hour service intervals. The G190 is equipped with a Leroy-Somer alternator with AREP excitation, protecting against overload and short-circuits, offering voltage stability and greater motor-starting capability, according to the manufacturer.
The G190 boasts a brightly lit analog control panel for at-a-glance monitoring. This operator- preferred display panel features all the controls and indicators needed to operate and maintain the aftertreatment regeneration system. A conveniently located run/idle switch on the control unit ensures reduced engine wear during startup in extreme cold temperatures. The G190 is extremely versatile due to its dual frequency capacity, making this Doosan Portable Power generator capable of powering 50Hz applications with a simple flip of the switch. A separate voltage selector switch is a standard feature that provides the operator quick and easy voltage configuration. Doosan Portable Power makes this signature protection feature standard on all portable generators, helping to prevent operators from switching voltage during operation — a common cause of downtime and expensive component failure.
Connection panels on the G190 are now more accessible to improve safety and feature expanded power wiring connections for improved convenience. The G190 has an optional camlock panel to further expand connection versatility, a wide array of twist-lock and GFCI receptacles, and a terminal board that accepts bare wire or lugged cable.
