Earthborne, located in Warrington, Pa., recently brought on Steven Endress as its fixed operations director.

Earthborne has been servicing local and national truck fleets for nearly 40 years and is also a dealer of JCB construction, New Holland agricultural, Rayco forestry and Toro and Avant landscaping equipment. Overseeing such a variety of products requires a specialized skill set.

Earthborne found the answer in Endress, who brings more than 30 years of experience in retail parts and service operations at both the dealership and wholesale levels. His experience in managing busy commercial truck shops made him a natural to complement the existing team at Earthborne, according to the company.

“Over the past several years we’ve seen explosive growth in both our parts and service departments,” said Doug Taylor, who co-owns Earthborne along with his father Rick. “Not only are our equipment sales growing, but we’re also seeing an increase in our 24 hour emergency road service and hauling divisions.”

Earthborne looked at how successful car dealerships were run and decided it would be best served by someone who had a keen understanding of the challenges and interactions of both the parts and service departments.

“Customer service has been our hallmark since we started turning wrenches,” said Rick Taylor, who more often than not is “in the trenches” with the Earthborne technicians, providing the benefit of his years of experience.

“It’s our commitment to our customers that’s laying the groundwork for the next 40 years.”
