JCB’s North American dealer network continues to expand with the addition of Edward Ehrbar Inc. A successful heavy equipment distributer since 1903, Ehrbar will now represent JCB’s compact and mid-range construction equipment — including new, pre-owned and rental models — and provide JCB parts and service from locations in Yonkers, N.Y.; Holbrook, N.Y. and Danbury, Conn.

With 100 years of experience helping customers find the right construction equipment solutions for their businesses, Ehrbar will now apply its customer-centric strategy to JCB’s compact and mid-range of equipment, including skid steers, compact wheel loaders, backhoes, Loadall telescopic handlers, small articulated dump trucks and rough terrain fork lifts. Ehrbar also offers a fully-stocked parts department and a full-service maintenance team featuring professionally-trained JCB mechanics.

“We’re very pleased to offer JCB’s outstanding compact and mid-range product groups to our ever-expanding customer base,” said Patrick Ahern, president of Edward Ehrbar Inc. “Ehrbar is a business built on an unrelenting work ethic, unparalleled service and product quality and a ’customer is always right’ philosophy which family-owned JCB shares. We are excited to combine our business philosophies and experience with some of the world’s most innovative and productive construction equipment — all of which will help us continue to offer our customers the right equipment solutions.”

“JCB is happy to welcome Ehrbar as a JCB dealer. This is a unique partnership for JCB as it represents a limited distribution agreement in which Ehrbar will be selling JCB’s mid and compact ranges of equipment in the New York City, Long Island and Fairfield, Connecticut areas,” said Van Clarkson, JCB vice president of sales.

“We collectively feel this is a good fit, because of the unique market Ehrbar will serve. At JCB, we always look for the best way to meet customer’s demands, and this new agreement allows us to do just that in this very important market.”
