Equipment East LLC, a heavy equipment construction retailer, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the opening of its new facility in Dracut, Mass.

Located at 61 Silva Lane, the new 43,000 sq. ft. building features eight drive-through service bays, enhancing serviceability of customers' equipment, a wash bay and a fluid distribution system for accurate dispensing of hydraulic, gear and transmission oils, as well as a large indoor-outdoor parts warehouse, providing customers with the most commonly needed spare parts.

"The opening of our new state-of-the-art dealership is long overdue. Our Equipment East team greatly deserves to work in a facility like this one, which was built specifically around our team's needs," said Giovanni Albanese, Equipment East manager. "I want to thank everybody on the team for being so patient waiting for me to finally deliver after three long years of planning and development."

Equipment East LLC is an official dealer of manufacturers Doosan, LiuGong, Yanmar, Stihl, Keestrack and many others. The company has been ranked a top Doosan dealer three times in its four years selling and renting the Seoul, Korea-based equipment.

Equipment East's facility also provides comfort for its team members to promote productivity. Among the amenities the new Equipment East dealership offers includes multiple comfortable lunch rooms, a uniform changing area, private restrooms and radiant floor heating throughout.

"On behalf of Giovanni Albanese, Andrea Ciano [Equipment East Manager] and our entire team, it is our pleasure to welcome you to the new home of Equipment East," said Gilda Albanese, office manager. "Today we celebrate the official opening of our new construction equipment dealership designed with our customers and team members in mind.

"Most importantly, however, Equipment East celebrates its greatest asset: people. Our professional administrative, parts, sales and service team members work hard every day in assisting our customers — from the landscaper to the site contractor — ensuring they obtain the tools, equipment and advice they need to get their job done efficiently and make their project successful.

"We are so thankful to those of you here today for it is due to your work — before, during and after construction — that made this day a reality as we could not have achieved this without all of you. Thanks to our family for their support during the three-year building process for listening to ideas and lending advice.

"To our team members who always give whatever it takes to get the job done, whether it's getting our customers the right equipment for their needs to working together in moving into this new facility on the weekend after Thanksgiving on Friday, Saturday and Sunday — known to us as Movingivings — and being ready to open for 'business as usual' on Monday morning.

"Many thanks to Enterprise Bank for financing our dream, thank you Arthur Santos. To the Town of Dracut officials and staff, thank you for working with us and to many others too numerous to mention who made this possible.

"We especially thank Giovanni for his vision in this facility's design, his continued leadership and guidance as we continue to grow the business, rise above many challenges and find solutions to things we didn't know."

The ribbon ceremony was attended by more than a dozen people, including Equipment East team members, Dracut Town Manager James Duggan, Dracut Selectman Chairwoman Alison Hughes, Arthur Santos of Enterprise Bank, the institution which provided financing for the project, as well as members of the Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce.
