Yoder & Frey, auctioneers of heavy construction and agricultural equipment in the United States, is working to accommodate the volume of quality used and surplus equipment now being consigned and shipped to the upcoming Kissimmee winter sale to be held in Florida between Feb. 13 to 17, 2018.

“When we passed the 'month to go' mark for the Kissimmee Winter Auction enquiries really escalated with the phone ringing persistently as consignors looked to confirm the lots to be included in the auction and to arrange transportation,” said Peter Clark, president of Yoder & Frey. “This now annual event already includes a massive number of specialized engines and power plants for heavy trucks; making it one of the world's largest 'engine sales' ever. ”

In the past few days thousands of lots of quality used equipment and many new and unused items to be included in this Kissimmee winter auction have been flooding to the site in preparation for the sale. The reported levels of bidder registrations also has been building steadily as buyers pre-register to gain access to the inventory in preparation of securing some real bargains.

A wide variety engines from a number of manufacturers — at last count approaching 1,000 — will all be going on the block, including units from Caterpillar, Deutz, Hatz, Isuzu, Ford and Volvo to name but a few, in both diesel and petrol variants, across a range of engine sizes.

All types of heavy construction equipment also are included, ranging from dozers, articulated dump trucks, crawler tractors, lifting equipment, excavators, crushers and screeners. A couple of the highlights already consigned include: a choice of unused, fully-equipped mini-excavators from Bobcat and Komatsu, and brand new 22-ton (20 t) excavators, including a Cat 352FLXE.

There also is an extensive selection of new pieces in the “garage equipment” section of the auction that includes items like unused generators, petrol quick cut saws and a PTO driven heavy duty wood chipper, plus numerous quality used items.

An extensive selection of new and used parts and attachments for an array of machinery will be featured at the sale, including axle arms, hydraulic cylinders, compaction plates, new buckets and tires plus a host of other desirable items. There also is a good selection of agricultural equipment along with commercial trucks, wagons and pick-ups and a selection of trailers. In fact there should certainly be something of interest to almost everyone.

“Our first sale in 2018 is poised to be a real winner,” said Clark. “Being part of the Euro Auctions Group global network of companies provides Yoder & Frey with access to a global market place in which we can promote consignors equipment to over 150,000 buyers in over 95 countries. Our enhanced and free to use internet solution also provides buyers with a robust and secure online sales platform so they can confidently bid on whatever items interest them and know that we can then arrange shipment to wherever they are located.”

The Kissimmee Winter Sale 2018 takes place in Florida from Feb. 13 to 17, and bidders can still pre-register for this auction on the Yoder & Frey website — www.yoderandfrey.com.
