Eric Blackburn Appointed as ESCO Treasurer, Director of Corporate Planning

Effective Oct. 1, 2009, Eric Blackburn, ESCO Corporation assistant treasurer, has assumed responsibilities as ESCO treasurer and director of corporate planning, reporting to Gene Huey, ESCO CFO.

In this new position, Blackburn will play a key, cross-functional role within ESCO combining aspects of corporate treasury, strategic planning, financial analysis and investor relations.

Blackburn will provide critical strategic finance focus, supporting the ESCO business management teams, to assess, develop and execute breakthrough strategies. He will play a leading role in analyzing and making recommendations for prioritizing capital investment decisions.

Blackburn will continue to be the primary corporate contact for matters related to capital structure and investor relations. Blackburn will shift to a steering role in corporate financial analysis and daily treasury operations which now roll up under Ray Verlinich, corporate controller.

Blackburn joined ESCO in 2001 and has served as assistant treasurer, corporate finance manager and as a senior financial analyst. Prior to joining ESCO, Blackburn held positions in both corporate finance and in public accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Arthur Andersen.
