Several promotions and leadership changes in the Power Systems, Lift and Truck Divisions have recently been announced at Foley Incorporated, the Caterpillar dealer in Northern New Jersey and Staten Island, NY. The changes in positions and responsibilities are as follows:
Power Systems Division
Mike Kubas has been promoted to general manager Power Systems Division. He will have responsibility for all sales and product support functions for the Power Systems and Truck Engine Divisions. Kubas joined Foley in 1998 as Engine Division sales manager. Prior to Foley, he spent 13 years in the power generation industry and five years in the truck industry.
Lift Division
Richard Hill accepted the position of general manager, Lift Division. He began his career at Foley in 1984 as a general line salesman in the Lift Division and then promoted to sales manager in 1995, in charge of sales and rentals. Hill’s new responsibilities will include managing all day-to-day operations of the Lift Division.
Steve Brooman has accepted the position of general service manager Lift Division. Brooman returns to the Lift Division after several years as construction service manager. His previous experience in the industry and his broad management background will serve the company well as he assumes responsibility for all lift truck service operations.
Greg Garrison, used equipment manager, has assumed the additional responsibility of lift sales operations manager. In 1997, he came to Foley as an account manager and the following year, was promoted to used equipment manager. Garrison has 20 years of forklift sales and managerial experience. Along with staying as the used equipment manager, his new responsibilities will consist of handling the internal sales functions of the sales department.
Chris Hile, account manager, has assumed the additional responsibility of field sales manager for the Carlstadt facility. Hile began his career at Foley in 1995 and within the past four years, has won the Foley “Salesman of the Year” award twice. Most recently, he won the national “Sales Masters” award, sponsored by Caterpillar. In addition to his current duties of account manager, he will now also be responsible for directing the efforts of the Carlstadt field salesmen.
Truck Engine Division
Don Spaziani has accepted the newly created position of product support manager. He moves over from his previous position as Lift Division Service Manager and will have total responsibility for the parts and service operations of the truck engine business.
